St Paul’s Girls’ School

St Paul’s Girls’ School

This independent school for girls between 11 and 18 years old grew from both the movement for women’s education of the late 19th century and the ambitions of the 16th century philanthropist John Colet, who was committed to the education of “the children of all nations and countries”.

The result is a socially inclusive community of 743 girls and more than 75 staff that fosters academic attainment and reflects the richness, diversity and aspirations of London itself.

St Paul’s has an iconic place in women’s education – and not only because we achieve exceptional exam results.

The girls are extraordinary and inspiring. Their drive, enthusiasm and sparkle pervade the school. It’s our job to help them bring this stage of their lives to fruition and move into the future with confidence and optimism.
